yes I made a second page! here I’m going to write a short summary of episodes from anime. there will also be screenshots and a link to where you can watch the episode (If I can find a site of course).

prince of tennis – episode 1

of al the anime’s I watched, I think that prince of tennis is one of my favorites. it’s funny, there’s action, there’s tennis, there’s a perverted father, a hyper-active sushimaker and a juice where you could die from.
for those who know the serie, they know where I talking about. for those who don’t, read the revieuws en watch the anime that will be linked and the end of the post.

         
Ah ryoma, your not gonna share?  Maybe this is a horror anime..   Ha, I see a monkey, well maybe two..

 

here the short summary:

Prince of tennis – episode 1. ‘a prince appears’

 

Sakuno was suppose to meet her grandma at the train station, where they would go to watch a tennis competition, but on the train a bunch of tennis players start to cause trouble for her. She is saved by a boy of her age, who is also a tennis player. He asks her later where the tennis competition is, but poor sakuno sents him exidentally the wrong way. Due to that the boy was late for his match and disqualified. When she meets him later on by the tennis competition, they see the bunch of guys, who where with them on the train, appear. The leader of them wants to play a game with the boy, so he can take revange. But he is no match for the little boy. He defeats him easily and when sakuno’s grandma comes, she regonises him as Ryoma Echizen, the son of the famous tennis player Nanjirou Echizen, ‘the Samurai’.

Prince of tennis – episode 2. ‘ samurai junoir’

Ryoma starts in a new school, the same as where sakuno is in. There he meets horio, a first year who’s in the same class as he. Horio, not knowing ryoma’s background, says a lot of things to look cool. By the courts they meet katsuo and kachiro. The four of them are asked by two second years, to knock on a can in 10 tries and if they win they get 10,000 yen. But to play they have to give 200 yen. Horio, katsuo and kachiro try of course, but they can’t knock the can on. When ryoma tries, he hits the can immidiately, so that the top flies of and they see that there are rock in the can. Then a boy shoots the can down with the rocks stil in it. The boy’s name is momoshiro takeshi, a regular in the tennis team. The two second years run and sakuno, tomoka (her friend) shiba and inoe come to the courts. Shiba and inoe work at a tennis magazine. Momoshiro asks ryoma for a match but half the way he forfeits. Later on we find out that momoshiro had his ankle spred.

prince of tennis – episode 3

hey, I’m back! today episode 3 of prince of tennis (POT in short), Arai is still mad at Ryoma and we finally get to see the regullars!

         
We all get tired of horio right?       just ignore..just ignore..     you don’t wanna know what I think with this

 

Prince of tennis – episode 3. ‘seigaku regulars arrive!’

 

Ryoma, Horio, Kachiro and katsuo have morning training. A second year asks ryoma who the famous newbie is and ryoma points to Horio. Horio not knowing this blabs on about his 2 year tennis experiens. The second year goes to Horio and tells him not to be so full of himself. Then Arai, one of the second years who played to can game against ryoma, horio, kachiro and katsuo, comes up and says that ryoma is that newbie. In the lockerroom ryoma sits on Arai’s jacked, what pisses him of even more. That’s why arai decides to embarras ryoma in front of everyone. When he talks to ryoma in the middle of training, behind him the tennis regulars show up. Arai quickly shuts his mouth. The regulars welcome the freshman and start the train their selfs. Everybody watches how the regulars strike every ball back into the basket and arai tells echizen that he never will be that good. When oishi, one of the regulars, hits the ball to far, it fly’s towards ryoma who beats it back into the basket. Arai gets angry at ryoma, but then Tezuka, the captain, shows up and stops the fight. Arai is even more pissed and when ryoma runs laps, he hides ryoma’s rackets. When ryoma comes back arai tells him to play a match with him and he give ryoma a old racket to play with. Ryoma plays with the old racket and to everyone suprise he even beats arai. Tezuka and oishi watch the match from a classroom and tezuka decides to put ryoma on the list of player who will be fighting for a place in the regulars.

hey a note from me to those who have allready seen the POT serie. notice how Kikumaru’s voice is different in these episodes. his voice now is low and a little grumpy, while his voice later changes into a more higher and happier voice. I don’t know where it changes, but if I find it I post it up.

okay episode 4 is up. the matches are starting and Ryoma is also playing! but is he good enough to overcome the regular Kaidoh Kaoru?

Prince of tennis – episode 4. ‘the man called Viper’

 

The matches, who will decide who gets a regular place, are beginning and the freshman are cheering for Ryoma. Then they hear a loud siss and one of the regulars, kaidoh, tells them to be silent. The freshman run, except for ryoma who is a little slow, and when they are standing next to the ranking bord, Horio tells the other two about the systeem. Also he points out that if you become a regular you can wear a white and blue jersey. Meanwhile sakuno is training. When ryoma comes by he points out what she is doing wrong. Then the matches are about to start and sakuno and tomo-chan hush of to the courts. Ryoma plays again a lot of second year but beats them easily. The freshman are thinking that ryoma might be nervous, but he say’s he’s only hungry. Meanwhile kachiro is taping the match of kaidoh-sempai, but gets excidentally a ball in his face. Later on ryoma is training before he’s match against kaidoh-sempai. Sakuno see’s him a wishes him good luck. On the courts momochan-sempai tells ryoma to be carefull of the viper (he mean’s kaidoh). Then the match starts and it looks like ryoma has the lead. But then kaidoh show his move, the snake. The ball goes then with a different angle, so it’s hard to hit. Everyone thinks it’s over, but ryoma doesn’t give up.

this was a fun episode! I think that Viper is hillarious, espescially when he walks! so like a zombie!

prince of tennis – episode 5

and episode 5 of course. after this one there will be a break and I put 5 episodes of a different anime up. POT fans don’t worry I won’t stop here, other episodes come later!
now episode 5, Ryoma has to play Kaidoh Karou, one of the regulars. Kaidoh has his snake shot and much more experience, but the match goes on…

Prince of tennis – episode 5. ‘snake shot’

The match is still on and Ryoma decides to play with left. Ryoma starts to play better and better and is able to return Kaidoh’s snake shots. Suddenly momoshiroh says that Echizen has fallen into Kaidoh’s trap. Because the true intention of Kaidoh is to make Ryoma rapidly loose his stamina. Kaidoh thinks it’s odd that Ryoma still can run, because he should allready be at his limit. And even his shots are getting stronger. Meanwhile in ryoma’s house Nanako, his neace, comes back from college. Nanjiroh excidentally drops his bekini babes book in front of nanako, what makes her shout that her uncly is a pervert. In the match Kaidoh starts to realise that the ball hasn’t become faster, but he’s becoming tired. Inui, one of the regulars, explains that it is because Echizen has shot ball deep and low to the line so that Kaidoh had to bend his knees all this time. What take’s him more enery than it take’s echizen. But Kaidoh still fight’s on. Suddenly Ryoma says that the snake shot just a buggy whip shot is and he cast the same snake shot back at Kaidoh. Inoe says that’s it’s very hard to learn such a technique in one day, but that Ryoma could do it just by watching Kaidoh play. Ryoma wins the match and everyone is impressed. Suddenly Kaidoh starts to hit his own knee, to release his anger. Ryoma wants a handshake from him, but Kaidoh walks away and tells the regulars that he will never give up his spot in the regulars. After the match the frechmans ask Ryoma if he trained with a coach or something and if he ever lost. But Ryoma says he lost all the time and doesn’t want to become a pro. Inoe says that the game Ryoma played today was one of Nanjiroh’s. so he decides he needs to meet him. Nanjiroh Echizen.

one thing, the bandana on Kaidoh’s head is now orange right? while in later episodes he wears a green one… sorry I just noticed it, maybe he just changed it.

well this was prince of tennis for now. the next anime is going to be a shorter one (because prince of tennis counts over 100 episodes) and it also has to do with a sport, but it’s more a female sport and it’s gonna be cold. can you guess where I’m talking about? no? well don’t worry, the episodes are cooming up!
